| The Forges Bright Shadow Foaled June 9, 2008 - Fathers Day |
| Shadow is a registered Percheron Gelding out of the wonderful bloodlines of Yeagers Percherons in Iowa. We cannot thank them enough for the great mares they have allowed us to purchase. But that is NOT the best thing about this boy - the best thing about him is is Loving and Gentle personality. He was imprinted at birth and is the warmest and sweetest horse on the farm... that is next to his Momma Image - the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Shadow had been trimmed naturally by Tony Vaught since he was 4 weeks old. He leads, trailers and has started his ground training. We anticipate he will finish out at 17h ( drafts grow till age 7)- with great conformation. He went with us to Horsefest and took all of the attention in stride-- was not nervous or fussy. He will make a great riding or driving companion. I know whoever becomes his forever partner will have a best friend for life... this little guy is going to be someones dream horse!!! |
